Hello, I am a proud Mama and married to my best friend. We have curated a happy life of small-town living with farmhouse flair.
I enjoy quilting, baking, crafting, and getting lost in a good book. I LOVE TO TALK, laugh, and hang out with my family and friends.
Someday, I aspire to build our forever farmhouse and move to a farmstead where we can have various farm animals. I am beyond blessed to be able to help you on your quilting journey!
How it all started...
I started my sewing journey at the age of five. Stitch by stitch, alongside my mom, I made numerous 4-H sewing projects. My first official quilt was completed at 10 years old and I have been making quilts ever since.
Sewing and quilting paused when I became a Mama. Within my journey of motherhood, I stopped some of my hobbies to focus on my children. I enjoyed this new adventure but something was missing.
Something about who I was and what brought me endless joy was missing. I realized it was quilting. I love to make quilts! I get lost in the process and I get even more joy when I can help other Mamas sew quilts too.
I have also learned that my family LOVES when I sew. My son loves to help me and play with his toys while I work. He doesn't leave my side. Soon I'll teach my daughter, just like my mom taught me.
With my rekindled passion for sewing, I realized my special gift I want to pass on to you! This sparked my idea to start The Farmhouse Quilter. My mission is to help Mamas find their own joy in quilting by teaching them how to make a quilt from start to finish.
